Boy, I do miss this place..

This is my first blog on the internet. Theres one malay sayings; "Tempat jatuh lagikan dikenang.." which means that "one remembers the place where he once falls" or somethig like that ;p.

What am I doing all theese time?

Fisrt of all, I consider to go online with my blog a little serious. So I get one of those cheap hosting and start some blogging using wordpress. Well, I actually took much more time configuring the wordpress itself that posting any actual blog. pity..

But that's what really changed me. I became serious with website building and start focusing in CMSs to create my lairs. It was my first encounter with Joomla and it's love on first sight.

Joomla is a powerful toys to play with. With hundereds, even thousand so called "extensions" to build, add or patch your dream website. Alas, it didn't last very long. I got tired playing with it and start minding a community forum instead. Why be alone when you can be with lots of other friends?

Wordpress / blogging didn't offer me much interaction anymore. So I had to build a forum. I'd figure that tehre are many of my friends are working / studying to different states and a forum might attract them.

That's when I install a forum called Forum Komuniti Silverian using PhpBB. It was fun. Playing with css / php files to create my dream theme. But something keep bothering me though.

PhpBB lacks of administering power disappointed me. Plus, the tedious modification to make my forum functions & looks the way I wanted is really stupid.

I need a more powerfull forum board..
